4th of July and Itaewon

So for the 4th of July, some of us met up in the morning before classes. We were actually planning to go to a cat cafe! However, we found out that it didn't open until the afternoon. We ended up going to Iceberry instead. Then a few of us went to Burger King to eat something quick before class. I had chicken strips, but I can't really tell if there is a difference or not, because I never eat Burger King in America~

After class, some of us wanted to go to Itaewon. We saw these puppies that were super adorable! Although, it is a bit sad how they are caged up in those tiny boxes!!

We wanted to explore, but we ended up spending all of our time looking for our dinner! We finally found a great barbecue place! Despite our faaaabulous Korean skills (not really), we kept having miscommunications with the staff at the restaurant! It took forever to place our order! It was well worth it though! The food was great!!! As you can see in the video, there were tons of 반찬 (side dishes)! I think that their side dishes were the best I have had~ When we finished eating, it was pretty much time for all of us to make our way home for curfew. One our way to the station, we found this cool place that sell nutella ice-cream!Itaewon is a great place to buy different souvenirs for people. If you walked down the main road coming out of the station, there are many stalls and stores selling cool souvenirs.  As we walked toward the station, I saw countless foreigners and Koreans walking in the opposite direction. Itaewon was beginning to come alive as we were leaving!
