I am going to Seoul!
Last year, I applied for a summer in South Korea with NSLI-Y: National Security Language Initiative for Youth. Well last week, I was notified that I got accepted!!!
I guess this is kind of like an introduction. My name is Dianely, but since my name is usually kind of difficult for people to pronounce, I also go by neli! I am from Texas, 17 years old, a senior in high school... I am not sure what else I should say, so I guess that is it for now. Basically, this blog is so that I will have an easy way to look back on the memories I will make this summer. However, I know how nerve-wrecking it can be during the application process, and reading other people's blogs about nsli-y helped ease my mind, so I hope this will be helpful to some people! ^^
